Wonder Woman Ranks among 2017's Most Successful Films

The Warner Bros. production, directed by Patty Jenkins, grossed $100.5 million in the United States on its opening weekend, an all-time record for a female director. 

With an additional $122.5 million from overseas markets, Wonder Woman became the highest-grossing female superhero movie in just one week. By the end of its run, Wonder Woman had grossed $412.5 million in the United States and $409.2 million internationally, for a worldwide total of nearly $822 million.
